There are many positive reasons for seeking counselling; some of these include improving your quality of life at RCS, and self-discovery and exploration. Others may be more immediate reasons such as decreasing anxiety and depression symptoms, developing healthy relationships, changing behaviour or decreasing/ending addictions. Whatever the reasons for counselling, your goals will be set by YOU and what YOU want to work on in counselling. I would love to support you and collaborate with you in this process.

Mr. Fontaine is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. He brings over a decade of experience working with youth, young adults, adults, and families across diverse settings, including schools, churches, and private and community-based counselling practices.

Mr. Fontaine is committed to supporting clients in their pursuit of health and wholeness by offering thoughtful insight and perspective while honouring each person’s unique background and lived experience. He takes a holistic approach to care, attending to the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of life. His clinical style is gentle and collaborative, providing a safe and respectful space as he walks alongside clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Mr. Fontaine welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and identities and is committed to providing an inclusive and respectful space for every client.
